What it is
Most AI programmes start with a tool and look for a problem. This starts with your operation and looks for the return. I score six dimensions — data, process, governance, skills, tooling and economics — and turn the result into an opportunity matrix that ranks candidate workflows by how much they'd return and how hard they'd be to ship.
Who it's for
Mid-market services and operations firms — managed services, IT and telecom operations, and the like — where the board expects an AI story and the team needs one they'd put their name behind. If you've got pilots that never reached production, this is where to start.
The six dimensions
- Data — is the information the model needs actually reachable, clean and permitted for use?
- Process — is the workflow underneath stable enough that automation compounds instead of amplifying chaos?
- Governance — are data boundaries, retention, audit and vendor review decided up front rather than in month six?
- Skills — can the team run and trust the thing once it's live?
- Tooling — does what you already own get you there, or is there a real gap?
- Economics — does the return survive contact with the fully-loaded cost?
What you get
A scored baseline, the ranked opportunity matrix, the compliance gates each candidate must clear, and a sequenced roadmap. It's written to be handed to a budget owner and funded — that roadmap becomes the plan for the Prove and Embed stages, if you choose to continue.
How it works
Structured interviews and a review of how the work actually runs today, scoring against the six dimensions, then a working session on the matrix so the priorities are yours, not mine. Delivery-network partners only enter later, at the build — the assessment stays independent.

How long does it take and what does it cost?
A typical assessment runs four to six weeks on a fixed fee agreed up front, so there are no surprises. The scope is defined before we start.
How is this different from a vendor's assessment?
It is vendor-neutral. I don't sell the build, so the recommendation is about where the return is real for you — including the option to use your own team or incumbent — rather than about steering you toward a particular platform.
