It works in the demo, not in the queue
The proof of concept impressed everyone. Six months on it still isn't in anyone's daily workflow.
AI Advisory & Consulting
I advise mid-market services and operations firms on AI: where it actually pays, how to prove it on one real workflow, and what it takes to run it in production. Twenty-seven years leading delivery operations is why the second half of that sentence happens — and a vetted delivery network is why the build doesn't stop at the report.
Where you probably are
Most organisations aren't short on AI ideas. They're short on the operating structure that turns one of those ideas into something that runs on a Tuesday morning without anyone watching it.
The proof of concept impressed everyone. Six months on it still isn't in anyone's daily workflow.
Clients and the board expect a credible plan — one built on where the return is real, not vendor slides.
Tools went in, headcount didn't move, and the team now maintains the automation on top of the original job.
The approach
Four stages, each with a decision gate. Stop after any one and you're still further ahead than when you started.
An AI readiness assessment across six dimensions. Output is a scored baseline and an opportunity matrix.
One workflow, one measurable number, six to eight weeks. Security and compliance gating happens up front.
Production build with an owner, a service level, monitoring and a runbook — where most programmes stop.
Role-based enablement plus fractional AI operations leadership until the capability is in-house.
How you'd engage me
A fixed-scope diagnostic: six-dimension scoring, security and compliance gating, and a prioritised opportunity matrix. A roadmap you can fund, not a slide deck.
Senior ownership of the AI programme part-time — governance, vendor decisions, delivery oversight and the scoreboard, without the full-time cost.
For delivery that's already slipping. Stabilise the operation first, then apply automation where it compounds.
Delivery network
I stay independent and vendor-neutral on the advisory. For the build and the adoption, I work with two firms I've vetted personally, each in a defined lane. You contract with me; I stay accountable end to end.
Chennai, India · Founded 2022 · Five continents
An IT services, consulting and product firm that turns an approved roadmap into working software — with particular depth in the Microsoft and data stack.
Pune, India · Founded 2010 · 22+ sectors
A learning and development firm that handles the part most AI programmes skip: getting people to actually change how they work.
Why me
For 27 years I ran delivery and operations across Tier-1 carriers and enterprise managed services — carrying the service level and the P&L, not advising on them from the outside.
That's an unusual starting point for an AI advisor, and it's the whole value. The advice is ROI-first and vendor-neutral: AI goes in where the return is real and the operation can absorb it, and nowhere else.

One conversation is usually enough to tell us both whether there's a real return in it. No pitch, no obligation.
